Goddess Hekate

Description

Hekate is a Greco-Roman goddess often being associated with magic, witches, ghosts, doors / keys and crossroads.
Sacred days are Samhain (more known as: Halloween) and November 16th, when sunset marks the beginning of the Night of Hekate.
November 30th is the Day of Hekate at the Crossroads.

For me Hekate means a lot – did she help me through many passages so far and pushed me from time to time on the right path … or better, helped me to choose one.

Hekate is for me – most of the time – black haired and the energy I feel is changing from lilac to darkblue and even black.

Blackness and stars – the night sky – is something I do associate with her as well.

She is a wonderful goddess – but not easy and she can be very strict!

Admittedly this is one of the Greek Idols I don't know much about, save for the basic idea. I've been doing research for a story I'm writing, but this figure is all over the place in Greek mythology that I don't think I'm understanding her key character. 😓
